Getting Started

My Wood Farm Beginner Guide

Your first goal is to turn trees into wood, sell that wood for cash and reinvest the money into stronger axes and farm expansion. Focus on production upgrades early because your axes can also continue farming wood while you are offline.

1

Start Chopping Trees

Equip your starting axe and chop the trees available on your plot. Keep chopping until you have enough wood to make your first useful sale.

Stay close to the trees on your own plot to keep the first session simple.

2

Sell Your Wood

Convert the wood you produce into cash. Selling regularly gives you the money needed for axes, upgrades and plot progression.

Do not leave usable wood sitting unsold when you are close to affording an upgrade.

3

Buy a Better Axe

Spend your first savings on an axe upgrade that improves your wood production. Stronger axe progression is the main route from slow early chopping to larger amounts of wood.

Prioritize production before saving for expensive late-game axe categories.

4

Repeat the Production Loop

Chop more trees with the upgraded axe, sell the additional wood and reinvest the higher income. Each completed cycle should move the farm toward the next upgrade faster.

Compare how quickly each new axe helps you reach the following purchase.

5

Upgrade and Expand the Plot

Use cash to improve and expand your farm plot as new progression options become affordable. Plot development works alongside axe upgrades as part of the main game loop.

Keep enough cash available for production upgrades instead of spending everything at once.

6

Use Offline Wood Production

Your axes continue farming wood while you are offline. Return after a break, sell the additional production and use the cash to continue upgrading.

Offline farming is especially useful when you cannot stay in an active chopping session.

Equipment Rankings

My Wood Farm Axe Tier List

Axes determine how quickly your farm can produce wood during active play and offline farming. Upgrade through the early axe levels first, then target rare, legendary and magical axe categories as your cash production increases.

S

Best Late-Game

Magical Axes

Endgame wood production

The highest progression category shown in current My Wood Farm gameplay. These axes are the main long-term target after building a strong cash-producing farm.

A

Excellent

Legendary Axes

Major late-game upgrades

Powerful rare upgrades that provide a major step beyond normal axe progression. Legendary axes are strong targets before moving into magical axe levels.

B

Strong Progression

Rare Axes

Mid-game farming

Useful progression upgrades for players who have moved beyond starter equipment but are still building enough income for legendary or magical axes.

C

Starter

Wooden Axe

First-session chopping

The basic starting point for chopping trees and earning initial cash. Replace it after your farm can comfortably afford a stronger production upgrade.

Cash Guide

Best Ways to Make Money in My Wood Farm

The fastest money progression comes from repeatedly converting wood into cash and reinvesting that cash into production. Active chopping works best during short focused sessions, while upgraded axes and offline farming continue supporting longer-term growth.

1

Upgrade Your Axe Early

All sessions

A stronger axe improves the core wood-production loop and helps each future sale contribute more toward the next upgrade.

Use early cash for practical axe progression instead of holding it without a target.

2

Actively Chop Trees

Short active sessions

Continuous chopping provides immediate wood and lets you earn cash without waiting for offline production.

Keep moving between available trees and minimize time spent away from production.

3

Sell Wood Regularly

Active progression

Wood only advances your farm after it is converted into cash. Regular sales make upgrades available sooner and keep the progression loop moving.

Sell when the current wood amount brings you close to an axe or plot upgrade.

4

Expand and Improve the Plot

Long-term progression

Plot upgrades and expansion are part of the official progression loop and support the growth of your overall wood farm.

Balance plot spending with axe purchases so production continues improving.

5

Use Offline Axe Farming

Long breaks and overnight

Axes continue farming wood while you are offline, allowing the farm to produce resources between active sessions.

Upgrade before logging off so your current axe progression contributes to offline production.

Tree Database

My Wood Farm Trees, Stumps and Wood Values

My Wood Farm begins with regular trees and gradually introduces stronger targets such as stumps and giant trees. Stronger axes and a larger production setup reduce chopping time and help turn each farming cycle into more wood and cash.

Progression Guide

Best My Wood Farm Upgrade Order

The most efficient progression keeps cash moving back into upgrades that increase wood production. Compare purchases by measuring how much extra cash they generate instead of buying every available upgrade immediately.

1

Start the Cash Loop

Use the starting Wooden Axe

Chop regular trees, collect the wood and sell it for cash.

Why it matters: This establishes the basic production rate used to judge every later upgrade.

Complete several sales before making the first major purchase.

2

Improve Axe Output

Buy an affordable axe improvement

Upgrade the axe that is actively producing wood before spending heavily on extra space.

Why it matters: Faster or stronger axes complete tree targets sooner and increase cash earned during each session.

Prioritize upgrades that create an immediate increase in wood production.

3

Increase Production Density

Add more working axes

Fill useful positions on the current plot so multiple axes can contribute to production.

Why it matters: Additional axes increase total active output and continue contributing to offline wood production.

Use existing plot space before paying for expansion that would remain empty.

4

Expand the Plot

Purchase more land when the current area is full

Open additional plot space and place new axes without blocking access to trees or the selling route.

Why it matters: Expansion raises the number of production positions available for a larger farm.

Expand when the next axe cannot be placed efficiently on the current plot.

5

Target Stumps and Giant Trees

Move into magical and legendary axe progression

Use high-tier axes and a larger setup against durable stumps and giant trees.

Why it matters: Late-game targets require more chopping power and reward farms built around stronger axes.

Calculate payback time as upgrade cost divided by the extra cash earned per minute.

Farm Expansion

My Wood Farm Plot Expansion and Layout Guide

Plot expansion is a core part of My Wood Farm progression. Additional land becomes most valuable when the existing plot is already producing efficiently and the new area can immediately support more axes.

Plot expansion is funded with cash earned by selling wood. Continue completing tree cycles and reinvesting the sale income until the next expansion purchase becomes available.
Passive Production

My Wood Farm Offline Earnings and Latest Updates

Offline production lets the farm keep generating wood between play sessions. A larger collection of upgraded axes improves the value of each return, while the official Roblox experience and Did I Axe community provide the main locations for game changes and announcements.

Core Mechanic

Offline Wood Production

Axes continue farming wood while the player is offline

Place and upgrade productive axes before leaving so the farm is prepared to generate wood during the break.

Calculator

Offline Earnings Formula

Offline wood gained = wood after returning minus wood before leaving

Divide the wood gained by the number of offline minutes or hours to calculate the farm's average passive production rate.

Calculator

Estimated Cash Value

Estimated cash = offline wood gained multiplied by cash earned per wood

Use the current selling return shown during a normal sale to estimate how much the offline production cycle is worth.

Efficiency

Best Before-Logout Routine

Upgrade, place axes, record wood and then leave

Spend available cash on useful production improvements, confirm every axe is placed and record the starting wood total before ending the session.

Efficiency

Best Return Routine

Collect, sell, upgrade and expand

Claim the produced wood, convert it into cash and reinvest the earnings into the next axe, production improvement or plot expansion.
